Mac Leod Peak, Not Corner Peak

If you are playing Name-That-Peak at the trailhead for Swift Creek, Shoal Creek, and Granite Highline, then chances are you are going to look at your map, look at this peak, and conclude that it is Corner Peak. It is not. It is an unnamed peak that a friend and I have unofficially dubbed "Mac Leod Peak" since it rises directly above Mac Leod Lake and dominates the scene there. This peak and the limestone pinnacles below and right of it block any view of Corner Peak from the trailhead. Gros Ventre Range, WY-- July 2009
