Makeshift rope

Because some of the difficult sections of the Primitive Route were covered with wet sand, we made a makeshift rope out of our jackets in order to help my dad up. November 29 2013. See the 2013 Trip Log for details.

It was a Haines jacket. I guess those Hanes commercials about tough underwear are applicable to their cheap sweatshirts as well.
