Traverse
The traverse crossing the crests of the Mantiqueira range that mark the border between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais.
The traverse Marins x Itaguaré links two of the main peaks of this mountain range.
The Marins Peak is the highest point in the state of São Paulo, with 2420 meters of altitude, and also the 26th highest point of Brazil.
The Itaguaré Peak, with 2308 meters of altitude is the 31st highest point of Brazil and is among the largest of the Mantiqueira. The trail also crosses two peaks: Marinzinho and Pedra Redonda.
