Hey Bubba Suess

Nice page, again. Not only do you make nice pages with good pictures and information, but you also write very well, and reading your pages is both easy and enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

Re: Hey Bubba Suess

Thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate your contributions as well. You have posted some pretty diverse and obscure stuff, which is exactly what I am on here to learn about.

Re: excellent

That is pretty cool. Where exactly were you stationed? At the cabin in Marble Valley?

Re: excellent

I rotated access to between the Canyon Creek trailhead (Lovers Camp) and the Shackleford Creek Trailhead....generally not staying in anyone place more than two nights in a row....sometimes a five day week sometimes 10 on and 4 off. Pretty wide open to set my own itinerary and sometimes going to off beat places where few people would be. Much less formal then. I had a fairly small kelty pack and carried a paltry amount of food if I recall - packable fish rod - and would often eat with other parties as their guest.

I particularly enjoyed meeting and talking with the PCTrail thru hikers. Sometimes based myself out of Marble Valley guard station for a couple of nights. One of my favorite trails was from Marble Valley up and over to Rainy Lake via the Marble Crest.
