Not 4 star...but definitely not 0. Interesting voting on these. They aren't the most colorful or crisp, but they are well labeled and do contain the mountains in question. I could definitely understand a 2 or 3 star vote, but not 0.

Re: Not 4 star...I think its too bad that they've been voted as low as they have been - I did't submit them for aesthetics, but rather, as photos of interest - something informative - and I thought that they were really interesting. Where else have you seen a photo that clearly shows most of the major peaks in the Palisade group as seen from the valley floor!?

Re: Not 4 star...Definitely. I gave most of the 3 stars because they're out of focus, but I think that their informative nature made them worthy of more than 1 or 2.

Re: Not 4 star...Yes. I perceive there are two primary reasons why people score too low: 1) they fail to understand that SP is for climbers, mountaineers and skiers and therefore posts which show routes increase their value and 2) folks mistakenly believe that they are owners of deep aesthetic understanding. After almost 40 years of compositional art training and practice I usually laugh when I see comments on composition. Unfortunately it's a popularity contest based on bad taste for most folks. I'm giving this one 4 stars just balance the scales.

Good locator photoI have a video from WMP of the Sierra Crest . Mostly it shows the Sierra, but its nice to know what is directly across from WMP. I could have started the topozone at WMP and dragged it west, but your photo obviates the need for that.
