Mather Gorge
Mather Gorge
A view upstream from the Virginia side, somewhat near Sandy Landing. As can be seen here, Mather Gorge is lined with cliffs that make for good climbing crags. The climbs are only up to 60', but the riverside location adds a flavor that many other climbing crags lack.
