Classic but always amazing!Beautiful shot petmat! I like the composition very much. Most people think that they must put main subject in the middle of the shot. Wish I could be there now when everything is white.

Re: Classic but always amazing! This is the most amazing shot! I stare at this for endless moments and feel so very much at ease and awe. I have this on my desktop background now and I love it. I always wanted to climb it but now will be content seeing it everyday here in Idaho. Thank you so very much for this wonderful view.

StunningI grew up with the Matterhorn being my mountain of mountains. This photo re-inforces that love for truly one of the most amazing mountains in the world. Beautiful pic.

BeautifulThis is one of the best shots I have seen of this peak. The lighting and colors are great. The pond in the foreground brings out a lot in the picture. I like it!

Re: Top Shelf!!I've just checked back for the first time since posting this picture. Needless to say, I'm flattered by all the wonderful comments.
I had originally hoped to climb the mountain, but due to poor planning and a tight schedule, didn't manage it. So, its fair to say that I probably wouldn't have taken this picture if I'd actually been climbing.
My advice is that even if you can't climb the Matterhorn, there are plenty of great hiking trails with tons of awesome scenery to justify a trip to Zermat!
