Bogertrophis rosaliae??It's hard to get a sense of scale from the photo - how long is this snake? I'm guessing at least two feet, taking the foreground grass as an inch long.
I'm no expert in snake identification but I did find one very interesting possibility:
Baja California Ratsnake - up to 72" long, likes dry, rocky habitat. The juveniles especially are often reddish. Ratsnakes are also notable for being "bug-eyed", which this snake seems to be. But Rosaliae has only been seen in Baja California (plus a carcass in southern California) (and it's mostly nocturnal). If my guess is right, this could be an important find.

Despite being endangered it is sometimes sold as a pet, it's possible that someone released this one.

Coachwhip SnakeThat's a Western Coachwhip Snake. They are not venomous but they are aggressive and will bite if threatened.
