Nice page and pictures but the side needs urgently a big maintenance as a lot of things has been changed in Meteora since then (new routes, more fixed anchors ect...)
Just got back from a 17 day romp around Greece. Unfortunately I was only in Kastraki for one night and did not get the chance to climb anything. A truely breathtaking landscape (Climber and Geologist's dream!). I did however propose to my girlfriend of 5 years in epic fassion! Pictures, video and the story are available here http://mountainodyssey.wordpress.com/2012/06/03/greece-day-7-meteora/

Untitled CommentThe photo captions could have contained a little more information. Otherwise, good page.

Untitled CommentSome route descriptions would be great. Very interesting area, and very scenic. I'm certain this spot was used in a James Bond film.

Untitled CommentThat's true, it was " For your eyes only" (german title: "In tödlicher Mission") from 1981 with Roger Moore.

Untitled CommentThe film was "You only live twise" where Roger Moore climbs in a non-realistic roped solo technique.

Untitled CommentYes-I remember the climb. Pretty corny. Jame Bond films are great fun, though. Meteora looked good in the film.
