Very Cool Mountain, Especially Iztaccihuatl and Pico de Orizaba
1. Citlaltepetl or "Pico De Orizaba" (18,491 ft. Above sea level)
Summited more than seven times
This one is a tough one as it psychologically affects execution. It is dubious to see the summit all the way from the base until you reach it, as this makes you feel you are not progressing and can cause you to become desperate.

2. Iztaccihuatl or "Mujer Dormida" (17,802 ft. above sea level)
Summited three times
Izta, as the locals refer to it, is tough hike rather than a Climb: Nevertheless the mountain is beautiful. I would advise on hiring a good company, as the mountain is very big. I have seen many "guides" without proper equipment and thus increasing the risk.
I climbed Izta by myself, but I suggest no to. I think at SeeMexico.com you can find the trip as well.
3. Popocatepetl or "Don Goyo" (17,802 ft above sea level)
This is one of the highest; however, is an active volcano that is very close to Izta
4. Xinantecatl or Nevado de Toluca (15,350 ft above sea level)
Summited more than 30 times
Nevado is amazing and can be climbed most o the days of the year with the exception of rainy season which is from June to late September
It has two craters which are fantastic. When the mountain has snow the mountain transforms frim a friendly mountain to a deadly trap, so hire a guide if that is the case.
5. Malinche (14,567 ft. above sea level)
Summited more than 8 times, even though is not my favorite mountain is on the way towards Citlaltepetl or Pico de Orizaba
Amazingly, I climbed the same four peaks as the only other climbers log signer. Ixta was the most involved, came down in a snow storm the wrong way. Ended up on the glacier route, was very glad to have crampons. Popo had just started erupting so never got to there, but saw it erupting from Orizaba summit in 1997. Toluca and La Malinche are also fun; too bad the drug gangs make it so dangerous that few want to venture there anymore. I personally would like to go back someday, Mexico as a whole can be a good place to visit.
