Bagged this summit as summit number 3/10 in a contest put on by Sahaptin Outfitters out of Cle Elum. Had to start at Stafford creek as the road was closed due to logging activity. Numerous water crossings; a handful of sizable blowdowns on the upper ridge. Views were nice if a little hazy. This trail felt like it took forever.
Word is the road has reopened.

Perfect spring hike!
Dayhike up the Miller Peak trail. 5 creek crossings each way, but socks managed to stay dry. Trail was buried in snow the final .5 mile but we hiked up to the ridge and followed it to the top. Great early season summit!

A great weather dodger
Here is the perfect weather dodger. It was raining and downright cloudy back on the western side but this mountain in the Teanaway still brought great views. A true winner of a hike when weather is questionable.
