We are descending from Monte Fior towards the saddle between it and Monte Castelgomberto. On the latter we see the monument to general E. Turba. Notice how the whole hill of Castelgomberto was fortified! Trenches go all the way up on its top by both sides. Photo: Jasmina Pogačnik, July 7th, 2013.
