On this picture you can se why the panorama of Monte Schenone / Lipnik is one of the greatest in Julian Alps. In the Middle Montaž is strongly dominating the view, its west walls are falling more than 2000 meters down to Dogna/Dunja valley. But you can also see here why the best time to ascend Monte Schenone / Lipnik is afternoon. This is a morning picture and we are looking towards the sun. July 19th, 2014.
