this munching, moocher of a marmot!
Marmots on frequently climb mountains are so used to snack handouts, they respond to the sound of crackling wrappers as you take a food break. I have photographed them in the Wind River Range in Wyoming, covered with pesky mosquitos. This one on Wheeler Peak wasn't being bothered by the bugs. Thanks again. slowbutsteady
Such a fluffy cuddly teddy-bear of a marmot ;-) and he looks as if he posed specially for your photo! ;-))
Thank you, Eric, for your vote and comments. I loved listening to your Scriabin and Chopin, combined with the video. What camera are you using for your video? You seem to have a good control and steadiness. Wonderful, that image stabilization! I hope you are able to take care of your hands when hiking. It seems gripping tightly to trekking poles aggravates arthritis, but of course I am not playing professionally anymore. What a joy to experience music and photography together the way you have presented it here in these videos. Best regards
Number one marmot photo I have ever seen. Excellent.
I appreciate your remarks and the vote for my furry friend. Best regards.....
best marmot shots I've ever seen. Simply epic!
Looks like he's saying "hey, i'm trying to eat here!"
