Mossy Log at Burdic Run

An unusual log with green moss and orange colored growth at Burdic Run near the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. I am not sure what the orange is on top of the moss or why grows there, but it really was colorful in the early spring sun. Just a little ways below on Burdic Run the stream falls 75ft down a waterfall as it enters the PA Grand Canyon (or Pine Creek Gorge). (March 29, 2008)
