Nice -I like the idea, but is there a way you can just have the pictures on the page without having to go to a gallery after a certain number? Because that means that all the rest of the mountains which get submitted are going to be in one of those tiny galleries. I think it'd really make the page good if you could find a way to keep them all at the size the first 10-15 are at and all on the page itself. Cheers-

Re: Nice -Herb--
You can hack some html to do this, but here's an example:
Worth Another Look
and Thephotohiker wrote an article on how to do it here:

InterestingFirst, nice idea!
I think it is interesting to see what meager, crappy rocks somebody calls a beautiful mountain or one of the most beautiful peaks in the world. This could be very exciting.
I know that it is all subjective, but IMHO the album should get more censorship to the world famous and beautiful mountains.

Re: InterestingCrappy rocks! Are that the Dolomites, you are referring to? The mountains who Messner, no less, has called "the most beautiful in the world" (and he has, as we all know, climbed all fourteen 8000'ers, so he must know what he is talking about).
I agree that many of the great snowclad peaks are also extremely beautiful, for some strange reason especially those of the Andes (see e.g. Alpamayo), but "crappy rocks" is overdoing it!
