Climbed & skiied Baldy Chute preseason, October methinks.
Very nice hike, one of the easiest climbs I've done.
Climbed via sugarloaf peak as part of the bullion divide.
This is a fun easy peak with great views in every direction. Coming over from Sugarloaf is easy and is a fun hike
One hump on a ridge run.
We climbed this peak on the way to American Fork Twins. We started from the campground in Albion Basin and hiked to Cecret Lake and Germaina Pass. From here we went straight up the ridge trail to the summit. There were some rescue wire body baskets stored there and a small weather station. It was cold and windy on the summit so we didn't stay long.
I climb this mountain when I hike the Bullion Divide. It's an easy climb with a good view.
Nothing terribly memorable about this one, other than seeing my first mt. goat in the Wasatch.
Have summer hike from all directions, skied and snowshoed the peak many times.
Another nice, relatively easy summit. The north ridge via Collins Gulch was an interesting route that I would do again.
Nice easy scramble. Did this peak both times as part of the Bullion Divide ridge run. The second time I did it solo from Sugarloaf to White Baldy and down Red Pine, making for a good day of scrambling.
I had planned to climb the American Forks Twin Peaks, but I chickened out on the knife edge between the twins and Hidden Peak, so I headed on over to Mt Baldy, and then returned via Peruvian Gulch.
One of the easiest 11,000'ers in the Wasatch, summer or winter.
