Gained Democrat's N. ridge from west side. Summited Democrat and then swung over to Cameron. Descended South side to Kite Lake and hitch hiked back to Freemont Pass.
Kilimanjaro training hike. We did Democrat first, then Cameron. It was windy and cold. Two fighter jets buzzed the area as we were nearing the summit. We decided not to go for Lincoln or Bross (there were some showers to the west), so we took a few pictures and headed back to Kite Lake.

A nice hike! Got my friend up his first 14er then talked him into Cameron too! He was a little resentful and tired, LOL.

TH 5:15, Democrat summit 6:22, Demo-Cam Saddle 7:43, Cameron 8:30, Lincoln 8:50, Bross 9:49, Kite lake 11:15.
Beat the huge crowds by leaving at 5 a.m. on the busy Labor day Sunday. Was funny watching from the top of Lincoln as the herd was heading up Democrat. Nice folks, great weather and some idiot has a nice Toyota Tundra buried to the axles on the side of Bross's hiking trail, ouch!

Wife, dog and I. From Bross completed the loop to Cameron. Decided to bail as I needed to get home a replace the muffler that had parted company from our car and required us to park waaaayy down the road.

I agree... It counts. Its still a mountain and a summit.
This one definitely felt like a separate 14er while hiking up from the Democrat saddle. Quite a workout! Definitely enjoyed Cameron even though it doesn't officially rank.

Cool summit even if it isn't a "legit" 14er. We did the Decalibron that day and then went on to do Quandary next. Great day

Did this with Democrat, Lincoln, and Bross. It was a nice change after being in the rain for 4 days and failing to summit Holy Cross due to poor weather.
