Mt. cruiser was the first real non hiking peak I ever climbed. It was 1982 and I was 20 and we drove down from Vancouver,BC.I remember being so excited when we got to the climbing part, that cool spire. I loved the high camp and remember seeing some BIG mountain goats. Washington has some amazing mountain areas. Great trip report and pics. Hopfully the next 30 years goes a little slower!

Wonder why they call it Mt Cruiser?the peak reminds me of an arrowhead, or flaked malite. ....Incredible tale, though, glad you shared it with us. A real fine job, 10/10

Nice ReportCruiser looks pretty impressive from Skokomish and Stone. After reading your report, it has jumped several places on my to-do list.
