Standard RouteSo many camping areas around the world have a Mount Ellen nearby, a mountain that campers and locals can reach and savor the feeling of being in a high place. I have to add that the view from the top of this Mount Ellen is almost exclusively filled with trees. And more trees. Likely a magical place on a foggy day. :)

PleasantThe Mt. Ellen Trail, combined with the Pompino Trail, made a pleasant morning walk through the forest (mostly mixed and a few redwoods).
