Mount Fay

Mount Fay

Mount Fay from ascent of Pinnacle Mountain, June 24, 2006, Banff National Park The center ice bulge (left) presents one of the most dangerous routes, outside of Deltaform's Supercouloir route, in the Ten Peaks Region. Looking closely in this photo will show a recent avalanche over the bulge. The huge cornice can also present difficulty getting through. The routes to the right are the easier routes.

Awesome

The bulge looks hazardous and difficult. What is the name of the glacier that dominates the view?

Re: Awesome

Thank you Mauri, the Fay Glacier on the North Face. I don't like the route, doubt if I could be talked into it, but I have said that before on others I have done. Cheers.
