Mount Gould

Mount Gould

Mount Gould (left) is seen above a field of flowers in the hanging gardens beneath Mount Clements. The standard ascent route of Gould utilizes the ledge and cliff band network of the SW face, seen here. Bishop's Cap (right) and Pollock Mountain (further right) culminate the south end of the grand feature known as the Garden Wall, which extends from Gould to points further north. Both can be climbed in a day via a route that involves a lot of interesting scrambling. Endless climbing opportunities abound along the Garden Wall, as well as throughout the park.
