This was a real burner from the start. Finally got it on my third attempt. Didn't see a soul until the 20 people on the summit and saw 0 on the way down.
Democrat. Cameron. Lincoln, Bross, So. Bross, very windy.
Cold, cloudy day with Todd. Sue's BD. Loop from Kite Lake, with Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross.
Standard DeCaLiBron route. Best mountain of the four. Really good views of Quandary and the dam.
Good climb, my favorite 14er of the "Decalibron," as they call it.
With Cameron and Bross. Clear and breezy day with snow on the trail.
Enjoyable day above 14,000'
Picturesque summit after the drab Cameron apex. But Bross beckoned with uncanny pull. Was fuer ein Tag es war! Ich freute mich den ganzen Tag.
Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln and Bross. Too good to be true.
Climbed 4 Colorado Fourteeners in one day! Slept in my Xterra, woke up at 4:30AM and hit the trail up Mount Democrat. Met up with 3 other hikers and traversed over from Democrat to Mount Cameron. We then continued onto Mount Lincoln and then finally onto the summit of Mount Bross. Arrived back at the trail head around 11:30AM.
Only got Cameron, Lincoln, and Democrat today.
4 bagger Lincoln, Democrat, Bross, Cameron.
Part 3 of Decalibron
Only 20 minutes from Cameron, just another 45 minutes to get to Bross from there.
Climbed many, many times
One of my first winter ascents.
Climbed on the last weekend of winter in an all-out blizzard - we couldn't even see the summit until about 30 seconds before reaching the top! It was a really cool experience.
A spectacular day -- three peaks for the price of one. The flat stone field to cross on the way from Mount Democrat to Mount Lincoln is remarkable sight. The downclimb from Mount Bross seemed to take forever.
