The commercial airline flight plans out of Anchorage must be managed by mountain freaks. Yes, I realize it is hard to not trip over a mountain when flying to the lower 48 but they don't need to pick these routes, do they???
Here is a "killer" view of what I believe to be Mount Lucania and its two neighbors:
-- Atlantic Peak is at the lower left
-- Mount Lucania is the highest peak in the middle
-- Mount Steele is near the top right.
All hail Google Earth. Without it I'd have never been able to ID these mountains.
