Beautiful day in the mountains. Part of a 3 mountain traverse.
Now that there has actually been a President Clinton they shoud go back to the old name Mt. Clinton.
hiked this peak from Mitzpah hut in the rain. returned to the hut to a nice hot dinner. Great trip.
Came up the Crawford Path as part of a South to North Presidential Traverse. Good views, only really good views of the hike as after this the peaks were in the clouds for the rest of the day.
I got this mountain after I was at Mt. Jackson.
Came up the AT from Mizpah.
Camped @ mitzpah once stayed @ the hut once.
Made it up via Crawford, then got blown down
Ba-diddly-ad weather = no views
1st peak of the day during south-north Presidential traverse. Couldn't see a thing, other than the fog.
views of the presidentials to the north from the summit.. which we almost missed and hiked right on by
First peak bagged on a South to North Presidential Traverse. Unfortunately, no views, rain, fog, winds, etc.
Part of a great day! It was a pleasure hiking with my wife and pup!
On to the famous Mt. Washington
Somebody wanted Washington/Monroe & somebody Eisenhower, did them all & added Pierce
with the boy scouts
Day 3 of Franconia to Pinkham, thought it cleared up later that day this one was in the clouds.
A beautiful, sunny day on the Presidential Range. Much different from last year's hike, when all we could see is fog. This was the days' first summit on the way to Eisenhower, then Washington. Two geological markers identify this summit, which had great views of Bretton Woods, the Mt. Washington Hotel, and the Presidential Range itself.
On a cleary day, we have a great view of peaks. The loop with Jackson and Webster is a real good day hike.
