Lot's of white stuff.
About 2'6" of snow, not very high
but one hell of a ride.
Very cloudy and foggy, heavy snow at Summit. All around great hike!
Great views and a neat lookout.
Great hike with a purty little rocky basin to compliment the lookout's extended views of the surrounding mtns and sound.
Great tune up climb.
Sun was out and I felt like leaving early. The chipmunk at the lookout was hungry so we shared a Cliff Bar. He likes Apricot! I had the summit all to myself.
I love this hike. I have done it twice in winter conditions and would love to check it out on a clear summer day.
Some nice pictures from November 2003

Beautiful weather for a day hike. Looked at this Peak my whole life and never bothered to climb it. Who knew? Sure are alot of people.
A fun day trip, been there many times. The date I posted this for was not the first, nor the last, but the most memorable. The guy I was with. The whole hike, his hair did'nt move, glued in place. Incredible! And slogging along on Snowshoes no less!
It's fun to look back through the paper log on top and see my other entries. The trail is busy this time of the year.
Even for a summer hike, there was a bit of snow. No worries there. I do with I brought my climbing/rappeling equipment, though. The summit view was fantastic and the weather was flawless!
What better a way to spend independence day? Clear weather this time. Easy grade and spectacular view. I can see why this one is popular.
Very clowdy after we reached half way up. No view on top but a few inches of snow on the ground. Well developed trail. I'm coming back again for the view.
Great, last-minute hike while on a business trip. Me and two buddies hiked it quick, mainly in the clouds, with lots of people on the snow-free trail. There was a patch or two on the other side of the mountain that could be seen from the lookout. The mud wasn't bad, offered more cushioning then anything.
Smoking a cigar at the top was... very nice.
Beautiful Day! Awesome hike, can't really call it a climb. 80 degrees, almost totally clear on an easy but high prominence peak. Great day to be outside, got to spend it with my Dad which made it even better. Never tire of this one.
Climbed the trail on a frozen afternoon, lots of snow all the way.
It was a very couldy day so the view was limited. I will go back again to get the views. I found this to be a very easy climb, with the trail well marked and groomed.
Grew up in the shadow of Pilchuck and got to know it like the back of my hand. To my "trail hiker" friends, you may want to go to the "trip report" section for a couple alternate routes to spread your off-trail wings.
Hiked to the top with my 7-year-old sister and about a million other people! Trail was solid ice, very slippery. Saw some people take some hard falls (including myself!). Carried my sister in my backpack on the way down :P
