A really nice trail with the flowers out and the waterfall and just a nice day all around. This is one I might even repeat.

Windy night at the top  Sucess!

Climbed the southeast face. Spent the night at the summit, with thoughts of traversing to Church Peak, and then on to Mt. Houghton and Relay Peak the following day. Wind picked up overnight and never let up the following day with sustain 40-50 mph and gusts of 80-90 mph forcing us to abort any other targets and descend quickly.

Hiked this a couple of weeks after S. Sister. Fantastic views at the top and met some cool peeps along the way. A great way to spend the day.

Sun Rise from the top of Reno  Sucess!

Great views and chilly on top even in August, though that might be blaimed on the 3am departure time from the parking lot. Worth the trip to get to watch the sun rise though, I suggest it as a variation to an already interesting trail.

ski tour

so the plan was to ski rose... until we got up there and saw that rose had almost no snow coverage... instead, we skied nearby tamarack peak (9897'), which was an absolute blast!
