Went Straight up  Sucess!

There isn't really a trail to the top so we just scrambled across all the boulders and went straight up, which was fun.

Road walk  Sucess!

Only an hour to the top. For Oklahoma the view was spectacular. I jogged much of the way down.

great trad top rope routes  Sucess!

The Mt. Scott crags offer plenty of great trad top rope routes for all skill levels. Don't go after May though, way too hot.

Hiked from Picnic Area  Sucess!

Had "summitted" many times by car. However, in celebration of six decades here on planet Earth, hiked the road up from the adjacent picnic area. Windy day, so it was especially breezy up on top. But, the views were great at the much slower walking pace. --mark d.

Break from the Barracks  Sucess!

Nice get away from the barracks of Ft. Sill. Loved the views. I could see the Land Navigation course I tested on during my BOLC II. Saw some bison too!

My Home Mountain

Hahaha, yes, I've also "Summited" Mount Scott. As always, great views. The last I was there, the wind nearly blew me off the top...well, not really, but I was very windy.

The wind nearly blew my door off.  Sucess!

Yeah, it was windy. We did some scrambling around the top afterward, but I really just wanted to get my friends oriented on their first visit to the Wichitas.

South Face  Sucess!

Parked at picnic area and climbed up the south face of Mt. Scott with friend of mine on Sat. Jan 6, 2007. Very steep and often dicey climb. Descended down the southwest slope and on to Mount Scott's Boy.
