Great day!
Great day in GNP! Nice approach hike, and spectacular views. Even some good route finding to get through the cliffy section. Here’s a write up and some photos.

Day two of four days climbing in Glacier
Climbed with Fintan. Went up the south slopes. Got to the summit in a little under 3.5 hours. Two grizzlies near the summit flipping rocks that we had to skirt around. Great views all around!

Another great day in Glacier
Climbed Siyeh, Cracker, and Cataract on a beautiful day with light haze.

What a slog!
The views on top are some of the best, but the effort to get there is exhausting. Nothing technically difficult just a long slog through scree that seems like it's never going to end. In the beginning we stumbled on a mouse near siyeh bend that almost ran us over and near the top we were bluff charged a couple times by the young grizz that lives up there. Sure was an eventful day but makes for a good story.

Crackin' Summit
Amazing views via South Slope. Does it take my top spot? No, but definitely top 3.

Gorgeous day
Climbed with @montanalex and @emilyhallemily. Their first time, my second. My first time was in snow and fog so I had to go back to get the view. Was a stellar weather day. Had a griz frolicking in the snow field below the summit.

Incredible
Climbed on a Bluebird day with the Glacier Mountaineering Society. The summit was inspiring- the sense of depth was so cool! Climbed with my mother.

Wind and bears on the south slope
A pretty wicked cold front came through by early afternoon, meaning that I spent most of my time on the summit clutching the ground for dear life to prevent being thrown off into Cracker Lake. The route was pretty straightforward once I found the right gully, and I made it to the top in under 3 hours. On the way down, I neglected "heybearing" out of laziness, and came within fifteen yards of a thankfully disinterested grizzly. One of my favorite peaks in Glacier so far.

Awesome!
I loved this climb! The bit of shale was a pain on the south east shoulder, but once we got to the rock 'climbing' it was fun- only one super sketch spot. Definitely gonna do this one again! The views looking down 3800 feet to Cracker lake were amazing.

First Climb in Glacier
Came up the south slope route with little trouble. It was fairly smoky but the views were still pretty nice. On the way back down in the middle of the rock band two grizzlies came meandering down the same gully past me and my climbing partner.
Climbed up the wrong way, still made it. Followed ridge from Cataract and Pegan pass. Don't do this. Came down NW face into Cataract basin. Do this; only if you are trying to get back to Many Glacier and don't have the time for the Skyline

Siyeh
I followed the route in Passemore's book and it was dead on. I loved the view of cracker lake. Next time I want to do the sky line
Started solo, then met party of 3 waiting to ride out the rain under a ledge(Chris, Laurie, Kelli). Finished the climb with them. Foggy, windy, cold, snowing high up. Lots of bears near the top. Views were crap unfortunately, summit was really socked in with clouds.

One of my faves
One of the few dayhikes I did in a month trip. Reminded me how fun day climbs and hikes are in GNP. Hiked to Siyeh Pass and was told at the pass the routes were all on the face and my endeavor was hopeless by a local, but the ridge to Peak 9833 looked doable and I aimed for that. Found some cairns up to a narrow traverse and none after, but I am sure others have gone before. A solid route with magnificent views, and one I recommend. Descended the South scree slopes and did not enjoy that. I've been on Merritt and prefer the views on Siyeh.
