As noted, getting to Igloo was very easy. I started the standard bypass toward Mountain Boy on the south side of Igloo and ran into a snowfield. Having left my axe in the car, I descended below it, and regained a couple hundred feet of elevation before seeing a second snowfield and needing to descend again. The rest was easy. On the way back, I found just a sliver of a dry spot to get into Mountain Boy park from the Igloo-Mountain Boy saddle. From there, most of the ridge back to the pass was corniced. But I was able to climb steep grass & dirt to the top of a rock outcropping just to the pass side of Pt 12,812 and then pull myself up over the cornice to get back to the trail.
Up north Igloo, ski descent, up to pass and up to Mountain Boy summit, ski descent, up small sun-peak of Mountain Boy, ski descent to 2nd hairpin where car awaited. More corn than a mountain range made of cornbread.

Two peak in 3 hours, after days of heat and smoke it was nice to se clear skies and cooler temperatues.
A WONDERFUL day hiking this pair of easy, high tundra peaks.
It was drizzling and I wanted an easier day after doing 5 13ers the previous day. These 2 just hit the spot.
