Mountain Goat at Lake of the Angels

We established base camp at Lake of the Angels when a group of 16 mountain goats came down from the rocks and visited our camp the first morning at the lake. The goats are quite docile and curious, though they shouldn't be fed because then they can become dangerously aggressive when dependent upon human handouts.

Thanks! Yeah, it was amazing to see them come up to the tent and check out our cooking site across the stream and then to see them play in the meadow!
