Nice photo! You must have summitted right after the first big storm last year.

Thanks, SVMK! Yes, it is a beautiful little range that doesn't get much visitation.

Thanks, sisyphus! An improvised register on Lavender had maybe 10 entries since 2000, though I know of others who had summitted without registering.

Nice Addition. Have you a lot of experience with the La Plata Mountains?

Thanks, Jon. In July 2004 I summitted Hesperus from the north. It's an impressive looking peak, but the scree slog up to its west ridge was close to unbearable! Someday I'd like to try Babcock; have to get motivated for the 8-hr drive though!

Layne, great page. I have not been in the San Juans for over 20 years, but pages like this make me want to get back.

Thanks, mountaingazelle! BTW, I notice you're doing the Utah county hp's. Have you seen cohp.org? It's fun to put up a completion map. I'm hoping to get my first Utah hp in August when I head out there for a wedding.

Yes, I have seen cohp.org. I am not a die-hard county highpointer like some people are. I just climb them if I happen to be in the area. Which one are you planning on climbing while in Utah?
