I saw your addition of a number of Tibetan mountains and some of the Caucaus - nice stuff, too.
Actually, I read your trip report Aconcagua, and it reminded me of a very similar situation (while not as 'dangerous') we had during a 12-day hike in Kamchakta in 2002. Not an easy situation.
