Thanks for the early material submission. I added some basic information. Do you have any good pictures that you'd like to share? If yes - please post them! I will be scanning some shortly.
Good page. Great pics, good links, good route description, good book !!!! Thank you for taking the time to get this information together to share with all of us !!!!
naw, i usually save four stars for truly exceptional but looking at the page i see it isnt lacking anywhere. ill change my vote, there's nothing wrong with your page as much as i grade too harshly sometimes.
Unfortunately there is not too much to write about this one beyond what is written. It is not too spectacular, just a sister of Shasta that has pretty much the same features.
I could be wrong, but does it say anywhere which knob is the summit? I sat up on both just to be sure but they both looked close. It would be nice if that info was added.
The info isn't there because I have not seen anything reliable on which of the two summits might be the highest. When I was there and it was snow free there was actually one register on the west summit and another on the saddle between the two... because placing it on either seemed arbitrary I assume. It's fairly easy to do both but if I had a good answer surely I would include it.

Untitled CommentGreat Job on a overlooked mountain. It seem like Shastina would be a great warm-up for other mountains.

Re: Two rocks on toplol...
Personally I like the view from the saddle looking at the west summit with Shasta above. Thanks Nick!
