The tyres at the notch in the berm are there, although pretty rotten. - The trailhead is at the dry waterfall at the dead end of the valley, at 6,300 ft, 4 hours walking from the road (4,000 ft). The trail is frequently interrupted by rock avalanches, but can be followed up to 7,750 ft. Then it disappears, and the remaining 3,000 ft would be up steep sliding pebble.
