Mt. Islip trail -- snow on trail

Some small snow and ice patches on the north slopes of Mt. Islip, January 2, 2016. These small patches should grow to a continuous 2+feet of snow by the end of this week.

Trailhead

Did you come up from Crystal Lake and Windy Gap or Islip Saddle?

Crystal Lake. That side was virtually snow free. It wasn't until I crossed over to the other side at Windy Gap that there was some snow, but even then not that much as can been seen in the photo.
