Wow! Thanks klwagar. Mt. Morrison has the striking northeast face. A prominent sight from Hwy. 395. The northeast face has been called a 'verticle scree field' because of the ancient colorful rotten rock that composes several of the peaks in the Convict Lake area.

Too be honest, I have only driven Hwy 395 once and that was a long time ago. I really need to spend some quality time out that way.
