Carrying the dog, not an option!?
Beautiful mountain, alpine lakes, great views, but the slog up the bottom half of the hill is tough going. The dog in our party cut his feet on the rocks, wasn't looking forward to carrying an 80lb. lab for 5 hours down the mountain, but thankfully it never came to that!

Great viewsMultiple ascents. The views always make the grunt up (and down) the penstock worthwhile.
