About a mile north of Snowgrass Flat the Pacific Crest Trail crosses the north shoulder of Old Snowy. This is the highest point on the trail in Oregon and Washington. This is the view of Mt. Rainier to the north. There is also a stunning view of Mt. Adams to the south.
