Mt. Thielsen Trail viewed below the summit

The shortest trail starts near the lake and winds along the lower area then travels along the spine seen in the middle of the photo.  Mosquitoes were horrific in the timber on 7/20/2019 and you are in the timber 80% of the hike.  Day or night the mosquitoes are out in force.  Deepwoods Off we used did not seem to bother them one bit.  Research your bug repellant and bring at least 2 kinds for this hike.  They were on us 10-20 at a time for the duration of the timber hike portion.
