From a photgraphic perspective, the photo has nice contrasts with the white fluffy clowd to the lower left of the peak, the pale blue background behind the peak, the ridge in shadow in the foreground and the peak itself dappled with sunlight and snow patches.

From a mountaineering perspective, the photo captures the full prominence of the peak (minimal as it may be), and makes the peak look like a worthwhile climbing objective.
