Muriel Peak

A glorious climax to the Glacier Divide, Muriel rises directly above its namesake lake. To its right is Alpine Col, which crosses the divide into the Darwin Canyon. From this vantage it is easy to see why the John Muir trail veered so sharly to the west, avoiding this divide with its 100 glaciers.
