HP + north summit
Quick and easy climb to the prominence point (Howard Peak). Car to summit in under 2 hours. Made the connection to north summit (Mustang Peak), then an adventurous descent down the northwest face.
A tough hike and climb. The area beyond the left fork of wildhorse creek is de facto wilderness due to the complete absence of trail maintenance. I made it to the saddle between Howard and summit 2 (about 100 feet from the top) and then descended due to dehydration (ran out of water). I will be back-- it is a true wilderness experience.

The road is ridiculous...I personally recommend biking in.
I didnt know there was a trail until the last half hour of my hike and it certinaly would've made things easier. The views are the best in Idaho.
It is truly and awesome adventure.
