Mount Evans & Rocky Mountain National Park Photos
After a failed attempt on Capitol Peak, we went to visit family in Denver, and while there we checked out several easily accessible mountain areas. Among the places we went were the top of Mount Evans, allowing me to at least summit one 14er, albeit probably the easiest one after driving most of the way to the top. We also stayed in Estes Park, giving quick access to Rocky Mountain National Park, where we hiked up to Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, and Emerald Lake, and drove along the Trail Ridge Road.I put together a slideshow of my pictures here.
