...Highest in the Western Hemisphere! Know you're busy - a detailed trip report would be most enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing the great photos...
Thank you. We are working in TR together with Corax. Hopefully, in a few days it will be posted.
I'm looking forward to it!
I'm using meditation to move beyond the mind's busy activity and emotional turbulence, coming to grips with profound peace and expanded awareness ..
I am so happy for you Larry - you found the eternal peace!
I already saw some of your pics on Facebook, and I had a special feeling about this one! I'm so happy this one is today's Photo of the Day, as I knew you had a special feeling about this place!
Can't wait to see all the others now that you've put here on SummitPost!
Thank you Eric. I loved that place. SO close to the base camp, and yet nobody went there. Yes, you had to negotiate some interesting terrain to get there, but it was definitively worth it.
I see I'm not the only one to discover that waterfall. We were actually on the mountain at the same time! It's a shame we couldn't have met. You made it to the summit on the 9th? We were on top on the 20th.
wow... the world is small. Have you met with Janne?
Congratulations on your summit as well.
Thank you! I have not met Janne. But I guess overall this was a very good season for Aconcagua.
I am not so sure about the season - many people did not summit. We had many windy days, and I have seen some badly frostbitten fingers on one japanese climber. I tried to ask at the park office about the statistics, but they had no clue.
