Nannies Peak & the Lone Mountain highpoint

Nannies Peak is no longer considered the p2k highpoint. That honor now goes to its neighbor to the north. This was Ken Jones discovery from 5-20-13 "I hiked this one thinking that Nannies Peak was the high point of Lone Mountain and the summit with 2000' prominence. When I reached Nannies' summit I sighted over to this spot and was surprised to find that it looked higher. When I got here I back sighted and confirmed my initial impression. John Vitz has also told me he found the same result. Thus I conclude that Nannies Peak is *not* the high point of Lone Mountain, nor is it a P2K - but this summit is." Andy Martin concluded the same when he and Mark Nichols visited one month after Ken's visit. It was the reason why Dennis Poulin and I went back and climbed the correct highpoint rather than claim our visit to Nannies Peak back in 2011.
