Wondrous clear day afforded magnificent views of Manzanita Beach. 3rd in utero summit for our little one.

Fun time
My girlfriend and I hiked this last weekend. We had a great day. A bit busy at the top, but still fun. Try exploring Hug Point after your done.

Sunset solitude
My girlfriend and I hiked to the summit for some after-dinner exercise. We saw one person at the trailhead, but were the only people on the trail. The sunset was less than stellar due to a cloud bank, but the view is still hard to beat.
Hiked up to the top of this one a few years back while camping at Oswald West Walk in campground. Fun stuff, even for a headlight trip.

Is this winter?
I climbed this with my wife and dog in 65 degree Sun. There's lots of scrambling options near the summit ridge. A fantastic view and very little work for the reward.
Great views of the coast and an interesting hike in varying conditions.

Neahkahnie Mountain
This is the mountain I see out of the window. So its an easy hike to the top either from the Neahkahnie Mtn. Trail or via the Oregon Coast Trail and Short Sands Beach
I have done this at least four times, and have done both trails. A great hike for all ages and abilities. Good for dogs too. Have done in wind, rain and sun. Nice views in the right weather. Will be back many more times!

South Trail
I hiked to the top of Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain after climbing Saddle Mountain in the morning. It was a rainy and cloudy day. Good view of the ocean from the summit.
Have done this one a bunch from both trails. Great way to spend a couple hours if you are on the Coast.
11/23/01 At sunset, ran into (unknowingly) the original creator of this page. Plodded my way down in the dark with no light.
8/4/08 Anniversary hike with my wife. :-)
Early in 2015 with Luna. Again 6/27/15 with Luna, add on trainer to get more elevation in and beat the Portland heat on the coast.
9/22/18 with Flanders killing time before his flight back.

5 times
Twice on the south trail, in December in clouds and May in rain. Once on west trail, in September in sunny and hot conditions. Fun for the whole family. Last time I was here, I saw a couple that took their 7 week old baby up to the top.
Edit: two more times, once on the south trail in nice weather to see if there was a way to reach the summit using the road that crosses the trail a mile in (there is) and once on the west trail in wind and rain.
