Nevada to the west

Despite the slight haze, you could see snowcapped Wheeler Peak (left) and snowcapped Mt. Moriah to the right. In between Swasey and Nevada is a lot of desert. Outstanding views from this summit to the north, west and south. Looking back east, your view is blocked by a bristlecone forest that comes right up close to the summit. 5-1-08
