North Face/NE Ridge
Our casual start led to an unplanned bivy on the NE ridge below the summit where we watched numerous thunderstorms roll across Montana for most of the night. Luckily, they stayed a safe distance away and we descended in the morning. We all learned a good lesson as well. If you sleep in your mountain boots remember to loosen the laces to avoid morning "clubfoot".
