Re: Bravo Liba!

Thank you Eric. I love that peak as well, and it shows nicely its north couloir, which looks very impressive.

Didn't know about a "Peak Potosi"

I've been living in Potosi (Bolivia) for a while and knew about several other towns called Potosi (beside Nevado Huayna Potosi of course), but had never heard before of a "Peak Potosi". Thanks!

Re: Didn't know about a

Thank you Bruno. I don't know how the peak got its name, but the whole southern to mid Colorado was first explored by Spanish, and many places carry spanish names. I am assuming that Spanish actually did not venture into the mountains (to get this view you have to be about 10 miles in deep inside mountains), they were after the gold after al)l. Any resemblance to Potosi's in Bolivia? I never seen those... Thank you again for your comment.

No, no resemblance with the original Potosi...

How ironic ..

This peak's name bears a resemblance to a
political figure currently serving in the
United States House of Representatives ..
